We recruit at the beginning of each semester. Rush is a two-week process: Round 1 is a full week of open events; Round 2 is socials, interviews, and bids. Whether you're interested in finance, tech, consulting, entrepreneurship, or anything in between. DSP has a place for you.
How Rush Works
Recruitment is two weeks long. The first week typically follows the Round 1 schedule below (dates and rooms are updated each semester). The second week is invitation-based.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sigma Tau is Duke's co-ed professional business fraternity, a chapter focused on career development, service, and community on campus. We connect members to alumni, workshops, and a network across economics, finance, tech, consulting, and more, while building friendships that last beyond graduation.
Not at all. Duke does not offer a standalone business major; many members pursue economics, public policy, computer science, engineering, and other paths. What matters is interest in professional growth and being an engaged part of the chapter, not a particular major.
During new member education (about 6–8 weeks), expect a few hours per week for events, workshops, and meetings. As an active brother, the commitment is flexible: attend the events that matter to you while contributing to the chapter.
We recruit at the beginning of both fall and spring semesters. Rush is a two-week process; details are posted on Instagram (@duke.dsp). For questions, email dsp.sigmatau@gmail.com.
Freshmen and sophomores are welcome to rush. If you have questions about your situation, reach out; we are happy to talk through eligibility with you.
Absolutely. DSP is a professional fraternity, which means it's completely compatible with social Greek life. Many of our brothers are also members of social fraternities, sororities, and selective living groups.
